IIUC School & College, Kumira

IIUC School & College is an English medium international standard school. There is an opportunity for students to study in both English and Bangla mediums here. The IIUC authority has established this school, who are also the founders of IIUC University, which is one of the leading private universities in Chittagong.

Equipped with modern educational facilities, this school is located in the area adjacent to varsity gate, on the east side of Kumira. There are approximately 500 students and about 20 teachers here. Like other schools, the school timing here is kept the same.

The school consists of a 4-story building, and a medium-sized playground in front of the building. The school is located very close to the hills, specifically at the very end of the eastern village, so the area is very quiet and I found the environment to be very cool; such an environment can be said to be perfectly suitable for studies.

The number of junior students is higher in this school. There are classes starting from Play up to Class 10. The children's classroom sections, Principal's room, and teachers' rooms are on the first and second floors of the building. The secondary class sections are on the 3rd and 4th floors. The entire building structure has been built to be capable enough for the students.

I liked the classrooms the most. The paint in the classrooms has been artfully done in a way that children would like. In some rooms, the paint covers the entire classroom, while in others, the paint is kept on only one side.

The tables and chairs in the classrooms are arranged beautifully. The tables and chairs have been made at a height that will be comfortable for the students to sit. All the rooms have been kept as a suitable and comfortable environment for studying.

The educational areas of the entire building are decorated with art and paintings. As soon as you enter the school building, you will feel like you have actually come to a school; when you see various paintings everywhere, it will seem that such an environment has been created for education that students will like the school of their own accord.

It’s not that the walls are just filled with random paintings. The paintings feature various equations, alphabets, history, and several important topics that students can learn and know about by looking at them. Below, I am sharing some paintings from different sides of the school with you.

Now, if I talk about the school's facilities, I noticed high-quality facilities in my observation. For the students' heat relief, every room has windows along with ceiling fans; this provides a very beautiful, cool, and quiet environment.

Being an international school, students come here to study from far-off places. And the school has arranged vehicles for distant students. As far as I could learn, there are a total of 2 Hiaces car in the school, with the help of which students commute.

Very clean and beautiful washrooms have been kept for the students. I noticed that separate staff have been kept for cleanliness in the school, who always work on cleaning various parts of the building, including the classrooms.

If students need to drink water during their studies, water taps have been placed outside all classrooms. Deep filter water and glasses were kept at the taps, which are placed at one tap outside each classroom.

There is a medium large playground outside the school building. There was grass in several parts of the field, which looked wonderful. Having some coconut trees on both sides of the field, students will be able to play comfortably in their shade. The environment of the field is very clean and beautiful, and it looks even more wonderful when students are seen playing together. The students' assembly and PT are conducted here.

The facilities in the school have been kept somewhat top-class. No deficiency has been left in the school's electric system. Alongside a high-quality and secure electricity system, also solar has also been kept so that electricity can be supplied all the time.

In a separate area on the right side of the school building, some rides have been kept for children to play, including slides, swings, and several other rides. Along with studies, students will be able to use these rides as well.

Everything about IIUC School & College seemed top-notch to me. It's not just that the environment is top-class, but their standard of teaching is top-class within our town; therefore, guardians from far-off places get their children admitted here. I visited here to admit my nephew as an English medium school, and I am satisfied seeing the school environment.
