Today I am here to join slc-s29/w1-Urban Discovery Journey.Urban journey refers to observing the daily life of the people in the city by exploring the various beautiful shops hidden within the area. It includes directly talking to the locals, listening to their stories, and being a part of their heritage. Today, I will provide detailed information about a 1 to 99 shop, so let's get started.

This afternoon, after finishing school, I went to the Sonar Bangla Market towards our Madhavdi to the newly established 1 to 99 store. It is located in the Sonar Bangla Market opposite Janani Hardware on Main Road. It was established around July 2025, and countless customers come and go here every day, buying various items. I have also been to this 99 shop 6-7 times
02 What products and services are available there? How are the prices, management and customer service? (With pictures + videos) |

This store has all kinds of products that I really liked. Starting from children's toys, children's diary boxes, geometry boxes, colored pencils, there are also various kinds of chocolates and biscuits. There are everyday cosmetics for women, jewelry, earrings, watches, and many types of cosmetics. Along with that, there are various kitchen items and beautiful decor items for the room. Overall, there is almost everything there. There are bakery items and various things for making cakes and puddings.

This store has a total of eight employees. Three of them work at the cash register, checking tickets to count how many products each customer has bought and packing them accordingly. They help us find where different items are located. Their behavior is very friendly. I have visited this store 5-6 times, and their service is satisfactory. I really like it.
03 Which section of this place attracted you the most? |

I am amazed by the various utensils in the kitchen, from different kinds of spoons to coffee hand beaters, many types of knives, glassware like sets of glasses, sets of tea cups, sets of bowls, etc. I was even more surprised when I saw the cosmetics used by girls, including lotion, oil, shampoo, soap, cream, face wash, and all the way to hair clips and hair ties; everything is there.
