The Trip That Changed Me

It is told that we grow on our own experience or own mistakes. Despite of hearing a lot from our parents and grandparents and their advises we just listen and forget.
I remember that in the past when I was travelling it was with my parents of friends and I fully relied on them, the tickets were booked and printed, when we were going to airport then we just went together. I usually followed my elder friends
One experience of my life let me learn more from life experience and also to grow myself. That was time when I had to travel alone to visit my grandmother and I decided to take a plane.
When I arrived to airport and was waiting for the time for check in I saw an elderly woman who was looking lost, she was looking at her papers in her hand but then to the display for the planes. She did not want to disturb anyone and did not ask anyone for help. After few minutes I went to her and asked if she needs help. She only showed me her ticket. While checking the details of her plane I noticed that her plane was departing completely from other side of airport. She was not able to walk fast and it was not good to make her to run the whole way.
I then decided to go and check with information and asked for help for the elderly and told that she must be in other terminal and not able to walk fast for a long distance. The information desk personal were very nice and organised an escort with a chair for the lady. The Lady was so pleased that everything is organised and could not trust that it was relatively easy. She was very thankful for my help and I was very satisfied that simple approach to an elderly woman and offering her help changed life for both, we both were very satisfied.
