The Diary Game [20/12/2025] // Weekend with the Vibes
Hi guys, compliments of the season once more to @everyone and welcome to my blog where I share my daily lifestyle content with you all.
The weekend greeted me with a calm, almost unhurried energy, the kind that gently nudges you out of bed without alarm or pressure. I began the morning by facing the small but unavoidable mountain of dirty dishes in the sink. I dedicated some time to keep the kitchen cleaned. It felt like clearing not just the sink, but also my mind, setting the tone for the rest of the day.
After the dishes, I prepared breakfast which was simple, but comforting, the kind of meal that reminds you that weekends are meant for slowing down. As I ate, I thought about the plans ahead, especially my trip to the local market.

I had been looking forward to it all week, imagining the usual lively atmosphere, vendors calling out prices, people bargaining loudly, and the narrow paths filled with movement and color.
Once ready, I stepped out and began the walk to the market. I got closer, I noticed something unusual as there was a timid movement around the market, a quietness that felt out of place. It was unlike previous seasons when the market would already be buzzing at that hour. I had expected crowds, noise, and energy, but instead there was a subdued rhythm, as if the market itself was still waking up or holding its breath.
Despite the unexpected calm, I went ahead with my shopping. I bought a few local food items, appreciating the freshness and the familiar faces of the vendors. The slower pace allowed for brief conversations and unhurried choices, which I did not mind at all. With my purchases secured, I decided to take a bike back home. Riding through the streets, feeling the breeze against my face, added a quiet joy to the morning. It reminded me how small moments can make a day feel complete.

Back home, it was time to prepare lunch. I had already decided on fufu corn and huckleberry with chicken. Cooking felt like a continuation of the morning’s calm. From boiling and stirring to seasoning the chicken just right, the process demanded attention but offered comfort. The aroma filling the kitchen made the effort worthwhile, and when the meal was finally ready, it tasted as good as I had hoped, filling, and deeply satisfying.
The afternoon slowly gave way to evening, and my focus shifted to soccer. The evening hours were largely occupied in front of the screen. Recently, I have noticed a change in myself hehehehehe. I’m becoming more of a Chelsea fan than an Arsenal one, something I never thought would happen so easily. Still, football has a way of keeping loyalties complicated.

I watched the Liverpool versus Tottenham game, but it turned out not to be worth the time. The match was overshadowed by numerous red cards, disrupting the flow and excitement. It felt more frustrating than entertaining. To end the night, I watched Arsenal versus Everton. That match restored my mood. It was indeed a lucky day for Arsenal, as they managed to maintain their top position on the table. I ended the evening content, reflecting on a weekend that was simple, quiet, and unexpectedly fulfilling. Until my next diary guys, it is goodnight from my end.
