Assalamu alaikum Everyone. I am @imranhassan From #Bangladesh

How are you all? I hope everyone is well and healthy by the grace of God. Today I will share with you a small tutorial about capacitors and their repair.

We often use ceiling fans in our homes. About 95% of people in this world or in our country are involved in this ceiling fan. This is a common problem of this ceiling fan, which, if we understand, is not a problem. We do not have to call a repairman to our house. We can easily go to the store and buy a capacitor after seeing a value and replace it and get rid of the problem. And there is another problem with this fan. Many times the regulators of our homes get damaged. Then our fan rotates a little. Then we do not understand. And during the summer, we do not get much air. So one day I will bring you a tutorial about installing the regulator.

Now I have a new yellow colour. 450V AC 2.5 UF capacitor in my hand. We have to understand how to replace it inside the fan, and you will not face any short circuit while joining this capacitor. If you use the capacitor upside down, the fan can spin upside down, and if you turn the capacitor over and reconnect it, the fan will return to its place and the air will flow downwards as it spins. These capacitors do not have any positive or negative connections, so you have to understand how the previous capacitor is connected and connect it.

Here you can see that I have taken two jumper wires of two colours. Buy a new capacitor from someone who has a soldering iron at home or a maker shop nearby and solder these two wires well, or if you can, do the soldering yourself. Because many times what we do is tear off the old capacitor of the fan by pulling it, and when we connect the new capacitor, we twist the wires by hand, then a loose connection remains, which is harmful to the fan. So I would say that when you replace a capacitor, you should solder its pin connections with two wires beforehand; then it will be much easier to throw away your old capacitor and replace the new capacitor, so in the next picture I will show you how I did it.

You can see the old capacitor of my fan, and here the two connections come from the fan, and the wires of this fan are very small. When you go up to the ceiling and put a capacitor inside this small wire, you will have to endure a lot of trouble to put the capacitor inside, so it is much better to do the method that I have adopted in the previous picture. And in front of this capacitor, you can see some writing; if you put these writings in front of you, on the left side of your hand and on the right side of your hand, you can see two wires installed inside the fan. You have to remember which correction I opened from which place. I have taken the yellow wire as positive and the black wire as negative. But there is no positive or negative here, since I have to keep the fan rotating correctly; I have taken it.

You can see that I have taken the new capacitor that I have soldered here, and I will connect the blue wire on the left side of the new capacitor with the yellow wire of the fan, and I will connect the red wire with the black wire of the fan, then my fan will rotate properly. There is no point in seeing the positive here. You have to connect the capacitor by connecting the points.

Then you can see that I have placed the capacitor inside the fan neatly inside the clamp. I have connected the blue wire of the capacitor with the yellow wire of the fan and the yellow wire of the fan with the red wire of the capacitor, and I have insulated it. But now our fan is spinning at a very high speed; you can see that before this fan was spinning at a very slow speed, and unfortunately I cannot test the old capacitor for you because the capacitor has unfortunately been lost by the people at home.

I want to tell you something about capacitors.

You can check the old capacitor through the series line, and when you hold a series line lamp on the two pins of the capacitor, you will see the capacitor. If the series line lamp is burning very much, then you have to assume that the capacitor is damaged, and when you see the series line lamp is burning very little, then you have to assume that the capacitor is damaged, and when the series line lamp burns in medium light, then you have to understand that your capacitor is good.

After installing the capacitor, the fan was spinning at a high speed, so I made a short video.
