Hive. Is this a scam?
21 days ago I was asked to remove my votes from Justin's sockpuppets accounts which I did. 17 days later they removed me from the Hive airdrop.
I even got a thank you note from one of their witnesses.
My only votes left was:
@blockbrothers
@coingecko
@quochuy
I voted for @blockbrothers because I respect @exyle who has been the most positive person here for all these years. That voice ruled me out of an airdrop.
Later, I was voted for @triple.aaa, which is suspected one by their terms, but then again person behind that nick is real, not some sockpuppet. By the way, he was the only 0.22.5 witness on my list.
Incredibly, @triple.aaa somehow managed to get in to Hive, so do @quochuy, @exyle and @blockbrothers.
To conclude. They have excluded me from an airdrop because of votes for witnesses who are all good enough to become Hive users.
Is this a scam? What do you think?

I don't know if he is a scammer or not but what's wrong with a self vote? Maybe he upvoted for visibility. I think it isn't fair to randomly exclude users from the airdrop.

The Witnesses used a script to detect sockpuppet voters. If you think you are on the list by accident, please contact @therealwolf or @pharesim for instance. They are Witnesses too and they can help you.

I did try to contact them with these post here and on on the Hive.blog, they just don't care. Their goal is total control, not Ned's ninja-mined stake. There are plenty ninja miners between them.

Just because you mention them here, doesnt mean they find your post. They get mentioned a hundret times a day if not more. I already told someone who can establish contact. @satren is a witness too. You can also try to reach out on the hive discord https://discord.gg/7bK7Ygh
Calling it a scam because you don't receive an airdrop is not correct. Remember why the community was forced to do the Hardfork in the first place! With this mindset you will have problems to get your Airdrop. Try to think about it and maybe you can change your mind and be more friendly and open minded. This could make the difference.

Just create a proposal on Hive and explain your situation and motivations. Then the community can decide with their votes if you get an Airdrop or not.
The only exception at the moment are some users who are on the list because of errors.

I've been reading through many comments related to new hive chain and I've seen your comment too. Many users are being torn, however majority seem to be moving to new hive.
Are you fully moving there or will you stay on both chains? Just curious. I'm trying to figure out what to do myself.
I know that I will not get an airdrop. They don't care about investors. I am alone here, easy target. I bought all my STEEM with my money, unlike almost all of yours glorious witnesses which are for "decentralization". I'm not Justin's sockpuppet voter, it's more than obvious, but they simply don't care.
That's because your mindset and your expectations have an influence on the outcome. If you don't care to get it, its no wonder. It also looks like you don't want to get it because you don't like the witnesses at all. I don't force you to write the proposal and I don't write it for you then. I also can't make you believe that what you now say is simply wrong and that you could also like the witnesses.
The only thing i can do for you, is to tell you to write a friendly proposal and tell the community why you think you should get it. Sorry, but I cant help you anymore.

Yes, I can understand you.
You can log in to your new account and then in the top right corner, click on your name and go down to proposals. There you can write something like a "Please give me my Airdrop" proposal. Include that you were misinformed and that you didn't really understand what was happening.
If you explain the situation I guess your chances are good that the community supports you. You can also write a Blogpost [in the new community] about your proposal. This ensures that it will be seen by more people.
Take your time for this and put some effort in and your chances will be good. I will follow you there too and support that. I hope it helps!
