You can log in to your new account and then in the top right corner, click on your name and go down to proposals. There you can write something like a "Please give me my Airdrop" proposal. Include that you were misinformed and that you didn't really understand what was happening.
If you explain the situation I guess your chances are good that the community supports you. You can also write a Blogpost [in the new community] about your proposal. This ensures that it will be seen by more people.
Take your time for this and put some effort in and your chances will be good. I will follow you there too and support that. I hope it helps!

And i guess you maybe were in the wrong circles. I found a lot of friendly people in the community. But i also need to say that i was in the Discord voice chat a lot. If you get to know each other better, you will find friends here too. Im sure! :)
