There is nothing better than something home made. We gave cards like the ones you pictured to school friends too but we never made any. Great fishing day and I am sure your neighbors were very happy. I love haddock and I make Poor Man's Lobster with them too.

I'd love to see the recipe for poor man's lobster....

Here it is and it is very simple. I grew up on a boat every summer and we fished a lot. Our freezer was always full of fish. So this is the recipe for frozen haddock fillets. Me, my family and friends say that it tastes better than lobster and of course, it is very tender. Hope you like it.

Boil 1-quart of water and add 1-cup of sugar.
Add frozen haddock fillets.
Boil for 10 minutes.
Make a broth with 1-cup of hot water and 2-chicken bouillon cubes.
Take fish out of water and pat dry.
Place in baking dish, pour broth over it.
Salt and pepper to taste.
Bake 340 degrees for 10-15 minutes.
Serve with melted butter.

That's an easy recipe! Thanks for sharing!

My pleasure. : )
