The Haunting of the Abandoned House

At the edge of a small village stood an old, abandoned house. People whispered that strange noises came from it at night, so no one dared to go near.
One evening, a boy named Ali decided to prove his courage to his friends and entered the house. Inside, darkness engulfed every corner, and cobwebs hung from the walls. As he stepped further in, the door suddenly slammed shut behind him.
Ali’s heart raced. Suddenly, he heard slow footsteps from the upper floor, as if someone was descending the stairs.
He shined his flashlight upwards… but no one was there.
Then, a faint, chilling voice whispered near his ear:
"Why have you come here…?"
Ali spun around in panic… yet the room was empty.
Suddenly, the flashlight went out, and the house was plunged into complete darkness.
He felt the touch of a cold hand on his shoulder.
The next morning, villagers found the house door wide open… but Ali was nowhere to be found.
Since that day, people say that at night, the house echoes with the sound of two footsteps… 👻
