Greetings to everyone reading this interview. I remain your host, @bossj23, and guess who we have onboard tonight? Our special guest today is someone who said his happiness depends on solving other people's problems rather than his, and he feels so happy doing so.

He cries out when he sees people suffer because they can't contend well with a particular ailment; that's why he resolves to spend all the years of his compulsory service using herbs and helping people to the best of his ability while trusting in the giver of life. He's no other person than @afzalqamar, a Pakistani who we'll know as a herbal man on Steemit. You're highly welcome to the show.

He falls under the worker section, and his experience will give you food for thought.

Interviewing an Herbalist on Steemit

@bossj23: You're highly welcome to this interview session, Mr @afzalqamar. I've known and worked with you severally as a friend, but members of the Steemit platform would want to know you better. ** Please, sir, can you reintroduce yourself?

@afzalqamar: Greetings to you, and thank you so much for having me as your guest. My name is Muhammad Afzal Qamar. I belong to the District of Okara, Province of Punjab, and a country called PAKISTAN, which you're aware of.

@bossj23: Okay. Thank you, Sir. I observed from your profile that you're a professional in herbal medicine, which makes you an herbalist. You also stated that you are certified for the modern herbal medicines as well as for the surgery. Am I right, Sir?

@afzalqamar: Yes, you are absolutely right. I am a certified herbalist from the Pakistan Medical Council, and I do this work with great passion. My goal has always been to serve the suffering humanity and to make them aware of various herbs so that they can treat themselves.

@bossj23: You're so selfless. More like a certified doctor who wants to help save lives. This is great. Your desire to serve humanity is great. In today's world, most drugs called 'white drugs' aren't effective anymore. Most in my village are going for herbs, and this has proven effective. Can I ask you? What disease have you cured with your herbs?

@afzalqamar: I use these herbs to treat specific diseases of men and women, as well as patients who are completely incurable, especially kidney and liver patients. I also use herbs to treat chronic diseases such as epilepsy, stroke, diabetes, asthma, and TB. By the grace of God, I always succeed. Herbs alone do not cure death, but they contain a cure for every disease. Here are some of my herbs. I've been giving out information on these herbs on Steemit in the past.

@afzalqamar: I have also treated many patients with gallstones who were advised by doctors to undergo surgery, and their gallstones came out as water. This is the miracle of these herbs alone.

@bossj23: Wow. This is an achievement for you, I must say. No wonder you say you have passion for it. If many know about this, they'll definitely make you popular. Now let's go to the main question of the day as a worker. How did your journey into herbalism begin? How did you start as an herbalist? Did you learn it from school, from someone or from family? Was herbal medicine part of your family or culture while growing up?

@afzalqamar: I have been interested in becoming a barber since childhood because my grandfather used to do this work, and when I watched him, I also developed a passion for learning it. I started this with my grandfather. After completing my bachelor's degree, I formally enrolled in an herbal college and completed this four-year herbal course and formally obtained my degree.

@afzalqamar: I have told you that in my family, only my grandfather used to do this work, and after him, now I do it according to modern requirements. This method of treatment has been practised in Pakistan and India for centuries, and it does not have any side effects. It is a completely safe method of treatment. Here in Pakistan, there is a regular institution at the government level which monitors all herbal colleges and provides degrees to successful students. Here, there is also an herbalist in big government hospitals, and the rank of this herbalist is equal to that of an MBBS doctor.

@bossj23: Wow. I didn't have the opportunity to see my grandfather alive.

@afzalqamar: Very sad 😢

@bossj23: This is great. Herbalism is not really an official course of study in my country. We inherit this knowledge from our forefathers, which has been passed on. Do you have any sad experiences in life you want to share with us? Just one, if at all. It may be a happy or sad experience. Experiences about your life, and what message does your experience carry to teach members of the Steemit platform?

@afzalqamar: The most painful moment for me was when my father left me forever. And the happiest moment of my life was when I treated a disabled girl who had been declared incurable by doctors, who had been completely paralysed due to an electric shock and had been bedridden for three years. I treated her and did not charge her any money. This treatment continued for three months, and she came to my clinic on foot, carrying a box of sweets in her hand..

@bossj23: So emotional. She'll definitely see you as her lifesaver
.

@afzalqamar: I want all my friends on Steemit to contact me if they have any problem or a disease that has no solution or if any of their friends or relatives have it, and by the grace of God, I will help them through herbal medicines. I am very happy when I serve the suffering humanity selflessly, and I am also very happy that you asked me questions and contacted me. I am grateful to you.

@bossj23: How did you feel after seeing your herbs work for her? Did you doubt yourself at first?

@afzalqamar: I was very happy. I had no doubts about the herbs. I was absolutely sure that these herbs would work on this girl, and by the grace of God, she would recover. And that is what happened. She is now completely recovered and goes to school regularly.

@bossj23: Let me give you a standing ovation for this. I pray while giving out to the community, you get back 100-fold. Last question. If given an opportunity to solve one of your problems, what would that be?

@afzalqamar: Right now I don't pay attention to my own problems. My entire focus is on solving the problems of others, and this is my life's mission. Please pray for me so that I always achieve success in my mission and continue to serve others..

@bossj23: Wow. I'm so proud of you, Sir. I really appreciate the time you've spent on this interview with me.

@afzalqamar: Thank you so much. How did you feel about my interview?

@bossj23: I'm just hearing it from you for the first time. I didn't know. Your interview is great. Most times I regret helping people because of the feedback I get. In fact, I stopped helping people. Any help I get, I usually keep it to myself because my experiences have been bad. I've learnt from your experience. You just want to see other people happy, and this gives you joy. You don't focus on your problems either.

@bossj23: Sorry to ask. Hope this isn't too personal? Do you give your treatments to all tribes and countries, or are there certain people or countries you don't like due to past experience?

@afzalqamar: For me, all humans are equal, and I give equal respect to all and treat everyone with herbs, whether they are poor or rich. My only goal is to serve the suffering humanity.

@bossj23: Thank you so very much. Looking forward to hearing from you again regarding something else, probably some advice.

Endnote

To members of the Steemit platform, @afzalqamar said if you have any relative that has been declared incurable and is on the verge of dying, he saved a girl and can be of help to you. If you wish to contact him, let him know in the comment section or in one of his posts.

Question to readers: Do you have any experience of helping someone in anything, and that person doesn't show gratitude? How did you feel? Did it stop you from rendering help to others?

I invite @candra8692, @sduttaskitchen, @mamun123456, @fannyescobar and @sahmie to read this interview.

Sort:

I don't think helping others is about gratitude... Expecting gratitude diminishes the value of the good deed.

You've nailed a point, but in some cases, people judge their kindness towards others by the response they get from other people which could be negative. It's just like mentoring someone on a digital skill and they person eventually gets popular and richer. Instead of giving you a measure of respect, he or she looks down on you and treats you like a total stranger.

Anyways, it's personal preference. Nobody is perfect. Most times, it's best to overlook a matter than generalise it to others. Thanks for sharing your answer to this question. I really appreciate

🎉 Congratulations!

Remarkable!
There is a saying that "Herbs were made for the healing of man."

Kudos to Afzalqamar for keeping his grandparents' traditions alive. Many people are tilting to modern processed medications these days. Which is not a had thing.

But I wish that we dedicate more time to studying our traditional medicines. Notice what works and incorporate them into modern medicine.

I have a personal theory that every aliment has a healing balm hidden in nature. We just have to maximise the resources that the creator gave to us.

Afzalqamar is doing just that!
