Screening Work
Screening Work

Today, among other things, we had to cast a material that had been damaged by humidity, specifically a white cement. It is not advisable to use this material because it has lost its initial properties and the final result will be a very inefficient material, since it will not provide the necessary mechanical properties.

But as a filling material it is good to use it, as if it were sand, it is counted with concrete aggregate in future works.
There were only 3 bags of 42 kg, we obtained 2 bags of cast material and 1 bag of granulated material, which I will see later what I am going to do with it.

The work was repetitive, adding material to the sieve and moving it constantly to separate the coarse and fine particles.

Finally, it was stored in a clean and clean place so as not to repeat the work in case it became wet again.

I just ask about teamwork, past problems they’ve solved, and how they handle stress. Watching how someone talks about others or tough situations tells me a lot about their attitude.
Yeah, had a day like that once—had to pour some white cement that had gotten damp. Ended up really weak and crumbly, nothing like it should’ve been. After that, we switched to using steelemixer.com—the Steele Mixer—just made mixing clean, consistent batches way easier and saved a ton of headaches with materials that were borderline usable.
