푸른 강이 없어도 물은 흐르고
밤하늘이 없어도 별은 뜨나니
그대 죽어 별빛으로 빛나지 않아도 좋다.
언 땅에 그대 묻고 돌아오던 날
산도 강도 뒤따라와 피울음 울었으나
그대 별의 넋이 되지 않아도 좋다.
잎새에 이는 바람이 길을 멈추고
새벽 이슬에 새벽 하늘이 다 젖었다.
우리들 인생도 찬 비에 젖고
떠오르던 붉은 해도 다시 지나니
밤마다 인생을 미워하고 잠이 들었던
그대 굳이 인생을 사랑하지 않아도 좋다.
