Nude-gimbap 누드김밥 🍚

This recipe is for inside-out gimbap, or seaweed rice rolls. They are called "nude gimbap" (누드김밥) in Korean. Although prepping the ingredients can take some time, it's very simple to create. You can roll it with your hands without even using a gimbap mat. If you'd like, you can even use your preferred fillings. My favorite is avocado. I like this "inside-out" gimbap because, unlike traditional gimbap where the gim is on the outside and the rice is on the inside, this one has the opposite arrangement. Perhaps because it appears to be naked, Koreans refer to it as "naked gimbap"! So many people havr told me they've cooked and enjoyed my traditional gimbap recipe.

The most crucial piece of advice for creating this is to make sure your workspace is spotless and well-organized so that all of your ingredients are easily accessible and don't end up in your white rice. You want the rice to appear good because it will be on the outside, so when you open your lunchbox, you can brag about the gorgeous gimbap!
