My Favorite Insect: Stag Beetle, of course!!

15 years ago, when I was back in Korea, I found this stag beetle in the Seorak-san area. Instead of it getting squashed, I decided I was gonna take it home and take care of it. I kept it for 3 years. I fed it only fresh bananas and water. I didn't feed it any of the bug jelly. And it lasted for 3 years. It kind of became my best friend in some sort of weird way. 😕 I ended up kinda being attached to a bug? I don't like bugs!!! But this bug was special. He let me pet him and I played with him, too. He never bit me, either. Not one time.
So anyway, after he died, i felt sad 😔 and never got attached to a bug again.

15년 전, 한국에 있었을 때 설악산 근처에서 사슴벌레 한 마리를 발견했어요. 밟아 죽이는 대신 집에 데려와서 키우기로 했죠. 3년 동안 키웠는데, 신선한 바나나와 물만 줬어요. 벌레 젤리는 전혀 주지 않았죠. 그런데도 3년 동안 잘 살았어요. 이상하게도 그 벌레는 제 가장 친한 친구가 되었다. 😕 벌레한테 정이 들어버리다니? 전 벌레를 안 좋아하는데 말이죠!!! 하지만 이 벌레는 특별했어요. 제가 쓰다듬어 주는 것도 허락해 주고, 같이 놀아주기도 했어요. 한 번도 저를 물지도 않았고요. 어쨌든, 그 벌레가 죽고 나서 너무 슬펐고 😔 그 후로는 다시는 벌레에게 정을 주지 않았어요.
