Lemon Meringue Pie 🍋 (#1)

Actually, I have two favorite pies.
They're two different versions of the same pie.
It's Meringue Pie!

I used to have this pie at the café when I was in America.

I haven't been able to find this kind of pie in Korea (not to say it doesn't exist there, just never had the chance). It's literally been over three decades since I’ve eaten it.
There are a lot of things that I haven't been able to eat since living in Korea. It makes me so sad not to be able to have my kind of food. I guess "my kind of food" means "the food I grew up on when I was a kid."

It isn't an easy life 😪 giving up your childhood lifestyle and dreams and having an adult life in a foreign country, where EVERYTHING is different by far. It isn't easy because you constantly keep thinking about when you were a kid, what food your mom made, what childhood games you used to play, trips your family went on, pets you used to raise, and playing Nintendo.
It makes it hard to really concentrate on the now.

Nostalgia kills. 💔 😥 like a🔪 in the ❤️ .

And alllll the while, no one around you even remotely understands the pain.
