Toothache: a test or a test of character
Surely each of us has experienced toothache at least once. This is an unpleasant feeling that makes it difficult to focus on everyday tasks, distracts from important thoughts and forces you to look for any ways to alleviate suffering. Once, a similar situation happened to me...
It was an ordinary morning, no different from the previous ones. I woke up, stretched, and suddenly felt a sharp pain in my upper right molar. At first I thought it was an accident, like maybe something was stuck between my teeth. But he soon realized that it was serious: the pain was increasing by the minute, reverberating in pulsating waves to his temple and cheek.
What should I do? The question arose instantly. Of course, the first thing I remembered was folk remedies. I applied a piece of ice to the sore spot, tried rinsing with saline solution and even tea with chamomile. However, the relief turned out to be short-lived, and after a while the pain returned again.
And that's when I realized that a visit to the dentist was inevitable. Many people have a deep-seated fear of doctors, especially those who remember the old methods of dental treatment. However, modern medicine has long gone far ahead, and most procedures are practically painless.
A visit to the doctor confirmed my fears: the caries had penetrated deep enough, and it was impossible to do without a filling. The procedure took about an hour, and in the evening I felt much better.
This experience made me think about a lot. First of all, regular oral care is really important, because it is easier to prevent the disease than to treat its consequences. Secondly, sometimes troubles help us to overestimate our values and strengthen our character. After all, overcoming pain is a kind of victory over oneself, a confirmation of fortitude and determination to move forward no matter what.
So now, when I feel the familiar discomfort again, I'll smile and say to myself, "Well, an old friend is back!" And then I'll go straight to the doctor, because health is more important than anything else.

Visiting the doctor, particularly the dentist, should be as periodic as car maintenance - 15k kilometers or 1 year. I perform preventive maintenance on my car 2 times a year. And it costs money.
According to my age, I have to be examined by doctors every year. This is a free procedure, but you need to find time for it. But for some reason, the dentist is not included in this program of support for Russian citizens. And it would be necessary to include a dentist in the program!
Taking care of your teeth is very important for everyone.
