Thanks for the info @yo-yo! It's my pleasure to talk about these trains because I think they are an incredible piece of machinery ; and it's a pleasure being inside while they go 250km/h 😄
Also we did several trips and I think we were in both Hikari and Nozomi because both names are familiar to me.
So, I guess Hikari is 光 (light), which I learned some time ago (yeah 😉)... right? But Nozomi, is that 望み ? Wish? Hope?
