What Are Your Personal Policies?

in #life3 years ago

It's a fact that everyone has different traits, and in making decisions that involve your finances you need to ask yourself what are your personal policies about money. What kind of person do you want to be? Do you want to save or spend? You also have to consider what are your expectations from your spouse, children, parents, etc.

If you're not sure what are your personal policies about money, don't worry, this article will help you make a sound decision. Asking yourself these questions will not only improve your understanding of financial issues, but it will help you get over the little things that drag you down in life. So, let's begin with your childhood. Do you remember learning about the stock market in school? Or did you just enjoy playing games on the computer that simulated trading?

How about your adulthood? Have you considered setting goals for yourself? If you haven't, you should consider them now, setting daily, weekly, and monthly goals that encourage you to grow in areas of your life that serve as your personal framework for success. And, if you've already set some goals for yourself, what are some of the little things you can do to achieve them? For example, what kind of person do you want to be, a productive employee who earns a lot, or a productive entrepreneur who has a big dream?

What about education? What do you think are your personal policies about education? (Hint: It's not about the subject you're studying!) If you were thinking about going back to school, what would you expect the educational system to look like in five, ten, or twenty years? Would you prefer a one-room school with two teachers or a top notch university with a big campus?

And, speaking of personal growth, what are your personal policies about self-development? Do you think it's more important to learn to get along in a crowd, or do you think it's more important to learn to be an expert on your own, an athlete, an engineer, a doctor? When it comes to personal development, what are your goals?

And, finally, what are your personal policies about money? What about saving and spending it wisely? Do you want to save more or spend less? Do you want to invest or save in ways that earn you a higher rate of interest? What about retirement? What are your financial goals and strategies?
