RE: Turning Dreams On/Off Like Your iPhone to Becoming Oceanic.

in #life7 years ago

Bitopia has elected @eric-boucher as our personal spiritual guide through the awesome yet often confusing playground that is the universe.

The human conciousness is one of the least understood mechanisms in science. Yet it lives within each living and breathing being.

Dreams are often incomprehensible, and yet you seem to have a firm grasp on the experience that everybody has yet, very few ever understand.

I hope to hear more from you.

Namaste.

First of all, I am very grateful for your grace-filled comment. May I be able to be of help when necessary, a guide in darker times and a bridge toward the objects of your pursue, if one or multiple there is/are.

@bitopia, this is so very interesting! I am taken aback and the surprise gives me a soft and kind smile of gratitude. I guess we all have realms in which we are more comfortable. The world of dreams have been for a very long time, one of my favourite playground. Far from being all knowing in the matter, my experiences in this field are still vast and, since I delved into it very deeply, I feel like I can also share many aspect of it that crosses over from the physical to the spiritual and back.

I know for a fact that I am not the only one doing or who have practiced conscious dreaming, far from it, and that this style of meditation is but one of many that are used to bridge the illusory gap of duality toward oneness. Studying the mind in a systematic way is a matter the yogis of Tibet have used for centuries. They aren't the only ones who travelled these roads less travelled, but their ways are extremely close to what I have done since I was a little child.

Many cultures, especially of shamanic and animist background have delved into the subject and have profound knowledge about both consciousness and dreams.

I can't help but point to the Australian Aborigines for that matter. With over 300 interweaved cultures before contact with the Europeans, and being one of the oldest unbroken culture in our human history, they have wealth to offer that go beyond anyones imagination...

I look forward to hearing from you as well and, as I am about to write the next post about techniques relating to conscious dreaming, I am eager to hear from you to see what you think and what you'd be interested in reading about coming from this end.

Till next time, keep your smile, take good care, thrive on and Steem on.

Namaste :)

There is definitely a huge "Lucid Dreaming" community. I have studied a little on the subject and am very curious to understand what may be achieved while in a lucid dream which may be translated into reality. You may be able to enlighten me a little more on the matter. I am currently focused on the manipulation and altering of our consciousness reality. My current focus is on the study of the Law of Attraction and Zen philosophy. I am a daily practitioner of meditation and definitive affirmations. There is much that we may discuss it seems :) I will be following you closely @eric-boucher!

If you are interested, have a read on my journey and leap of faith here on Steemit.

Namaste!
