Celebrating 15,000+ Steem Power

I'm celebrating again!
Why?
My most recent power-up carried me over the 15,000 STEEM power threshold. While no whale, I'm not a minnow anymore either. It's nice to be able to shift a little bit more of the reward pool to content creators I see doing exceptional work here.
I am also pausing to say "Thank You."
A big, hearty "Thank You" to all my supporters, both small and large.
One of my very first supporters here on Steemit was @fyrstikken. I remember being amazed when he somehow sicced some 'bots on my account, and I watched my vote count ticking rapidly upward. Thanks, @fyrstikken!
There was also a period of time when I was on the auto-vote list of @xeldal and @enki. Thank you, both of you!

Though too many to mention individually,
I am grateful to all my supporters over the two+ years I've been on Steemit. Every bit of STEEM, STEEM POWER, and SBD that I've ever aquired has been because of your collective influence on the rewards pool, channeling some of that value in my direction.
STEEM is so useful.
Though at heart, I'm a HODLer, six months or so ago I had to divest myself of some STEEM in order to survive. But, I was thankful that I had it! I know of quite a few others who have been able to cash in STEEM in order to solve "real world" problems. You can't do that on Facebook.
I tell everyone I know about STEEM.
No, I can't say the adoption rate has been stellar. I guess I've never been a "mover and shaker," but I'll continue to use the bit of influence that I have.
And so I'll continue to HODL STEEM,
and will continue to power up every bit that I can.

P.S. If you have an "in" with anybody at Steemit, Inc. - Would you please ask them to get rid of these damn, extremely annoying "off-website" arrow/boxes? The have, overnight, made Steemit ugly. There are much better solutions.

I wouldn't call myself a poet as that would imply that I am good at it. So, I'd say, I try. I try writing poems and fiction but is very far from being called a writer.
