My partner is a skipper and is out on the reef every day... he watched it fluoresce 1 week before the cyclone came in and smashed us. He said he'd never seen anything like it. That is the first stage of coral bleaching. The water was just too hot. The cyclone chilled the water, but also smashed up the reef.
The world is like a drug addict, addicted to how we live. The mining companies are like the dealers destroying us and our planet... but we cant cope without it... addicted fools. I reckon we need to return to the simple life.
We have a big program on it tonight on the Tv, just as the adani loving reef wrecker gets back into power. Fingers crossed, but it doesn't look promising.
