Taking a Time Out at Dean's Cove
Errands, errands, and more errands...feeling a bit grrrrr about it so I decided to take a detour on the way to my next errand.

Just spotting a glimpse of the lake through the trees made me feel instantly better

I'm a huge fan of rock walls I've recently realized,
even when they're man made.

Where the stream meets the lake, crazy how ugly this water looks in comparison
You can kind of see where the color changes right beyond that bush
A nice leisurely break....now on to more errands Blechhh!

Its always good to take a break from errands for a look at nature. The lakes and rivers are great places to relax. These photos are great to view and relax too.
It is, and sadly it's being replaced by electronics to the extent that I rarely run into people when I'm traipsing through the woods or even at parks. No amount of youtube vids can replace the real thing!

Well your boat or the actual jetty might catch fire and you don't want that to spread, specially if it's your boat and the fire merrily burns along the oil slick to everywhere else over the water XD

Okay, that makes sense, a boat electrical fire. It's just such an odd thing to see in the middle of water haha. And they don't have them at any of the other boat launches...which is odd now that i think about it, since most of them are marinas with tons of boats tied up to docks, not just a launching pad like this one.
Is it a chemical fire extinguisher, that will work on fires that water won't, maybe?
Hmm, if so, what electrical fire are they anticipating happening at that particular spot? LOL

One of these days I need to get up that way, the closest I've been to there is Ohio, but I never went much past Cincinnati. It's funny that it never really occurs to me there is like a whole 'coastal' region along the Great Lakes.
