I'm not sure if the conversation will happen, but it would be nice. She seems to hold some longtime resentment, some sort of always being on the short end of things, so now it's carrying over to her children. I wasn't around for her upbringing, so I don't know what is and isn't true. I just know I love my grandchildren. All of them.

If the situation is ever reversed, we'll end up doting on their children for the short period of time they're visiting and doing our best to play with and love the one(s) living with us.
