Wind at Your Back?
When the wind is at your back you take it.
Me
I was reading today and stumbled upon this quote:
“Remember: you shouldn’t be surprised that a fig tree produces figs, nor the world what it produces. A good doctor isn’t surprised when his patients have fevers, or a helmsman when the wind blows against him.”
-Marcus Aurelius, Meditations
I felt this was a relevant quote for the image and hope you all enjoy it! Sometimes in life we have the wind at our backs and sometimes we will have the winds against us. With proper preparation and planning we can be ready for either circumstance and neither should surprise us. I'm all about full-ownership lately and focusing on applying this philosophy to all areas of my life. Things don't happen to us, rather, they happen because of us!
I'm often asked about the Captain America plates on the barbell - they're from Onnit over in Austin, Texas. Surely a company whose values, fitness methodologies, and supplements I will be sharing more of with you all. I have two of my fitness certifications from them and their Durability course changed my life! Also, Onnit was one part of the earlier retailers to accept cryptocurrency and that alone says a lot!
Wishing everyone a great start to your week - may the winds be at your back!

@kissyou I agree! Have a great one!
I did like them weights when I seen them earlier. I thought, what a brilliant idea. Humans love a thing that is most dear to them. It may be simply a skin, but it completely transforms such a thing. Making it not just dear, but also unique to the individual.
I like that you are a fitness existence. steemit really doesn't have a solid fitness community yet but the opportunity to form one is clearly there. With that would obviously come reward. So definitely worth the effort if you have the talent. Which you certainly do. Well done.
@teknow Thank you! I am going to start some movement and mobility challenges to help encourage everyone to move a bit more. :) Hopefully it will help everyone move and feel better! At the end of the day it's all about quality of life!
These weights are pretty motivating though :) :D
They're fun to play around with! A little Captain America training never hurt anybody. ;)
