It is a little more complex than Blocktrades. I had to send some Steem there, buy Bitcoin and then sell that for Hive. Didn't seem to be a more direct route. Still get a reasonable exchange rate. Hive is cheap right now and I think it will improve in time, but I can't offer financial advice :)
