Of course Steem in itself is a joke these days, but I'll be out of here as soon as I power down. I am selling my Steem for Hive using Ionomy as Blocktrades had their account frozen.

Oh thank you for that link on how to sell steem for hive! Not funny I know, grateful though. That should at least put a smile on your face.
It is a little more complex than Blocktrades. I had to send some Steem there, buy Bitcoin and then sell that for Hive. Didn't seem to be a more direct route. Still get a reasonable exchange rate. Hive is cheap right now and I think it will improve in time, but I can't offer financial advice :)
