SICK AND REFLECTING
Hello, good morning everyone… today I'm going to talk a little about something that has nothing to do with my usual content, nor my variety magazine. Because it's always a good time to express a little of what's happening and how we feel.
In short, today I'm feeling a bit distressed because I've been in bed for almost a week, so to speak, since I caught the flu (apparently mild) over a week ago, until it turned into a mutant virus (in my opinion) and led to treatment and complete rest.
What started with a mild sore throat and headache progressed to fevers, body aches, stomach pain and its secondary consequences: lots of phlegm, difficulty breathing… and now, a cough that's suffocating me. I had to go to work the first day I was sick; I had to meet with a guy I'm helping with his thesis, and I was even dizzy.
I've been prescribed a lot of things, and I've followed the instructions. I'd say I'm feeling generally better, but the cough is still there and it's preventing me from doing my usual activities or working on my projects. If I get agitated, my throat dries out, and the cough goes haywire
