What is Life?
What is the purpose of life?
A question I have been silently pondering since the age of five.
Raised in a religious background, I was taught not to think, I was taught not to question.
Now being non-religious, it's a question I come back to often.
What do I want to do in life? How do I want to live my life?
What is life?
Is it this never ending cycle of destructive parenting, raising wounded children, sending them to school so they can stress and worry for most of their young lives with homework, standardized tests and meaningless gripe?
Watching their parents slave away most of their adult life to jobs they hate.
Preparing themselves for that life when they are of age,
find love (if they're lucky),
get married (if they're lucky),
have kids (if they're lucky).
Raise their kids as they were raised.
Work until they're 65, and then and only then, finally relax and "enjoy life"?
What is life?
What does it mean to truly live?
Is this our only shot? Is this our one true chance?
What are we here to learn?
What are we here to gain?
Did we all choose to be here?
And what if we choose to take it away?
The ultimate human experience
is my closest understanding
Of why I am here, at this time, at this now
To Love and to Suffer
To Hate and to Learn
To create my reality, internally and out
To forgive and show compassion ALWAYS, and master the doubt
To appreciate every moment, if and when they come
To be human
To be and to become
Every experience is precious and meaningful,
or not
It's really quite up to you
So here I am now
Choosing what I want my life to be
Taking ownership and responsibility
No one gets to live this life but me
My choice, my rules, my power, my destiny
Whatever it takes to live authentically
That's the life for me

Hi hope all is well I've recently set up @steemlondon I'm thinking of doing a meet up at the O2 arena in January or February next year and I could do with some help if you are interested and also do you think I should set up a tribe front end to go with the London token
Hey yea, I've been taking it easy on Steem to focus on life things, so haven't had a chance to do another Meetup yet since the Aug one.
I can possibly help with a Jan/Feb one, most of the London regulars would be up for it anyway, as long as they're in town. Can we PM anywhere else to talk more? Are you on IG or twitter?
