I am proud to say that Saturday saw the largest gathering of Steemians in the U.K. at a cool 32 and counting. From a box of 5,000 flyers to an Exhibition in 11 months..!!

From a box of 5,000 flyers to an Exhibition in 11 months
With the van now safely unloaded, off hired and back at the rental depot, it is great to finally sit down and reflect on what was truly an amazing weekend.
As I was going through all the memorable photographs that have been shared, I thought I would also look back over the last 11 months to see how it all started.
It was on the 8th May of last year that I hit the streets of Manchester with a first batch of 1,000 flyers out a box of 5,000 and began handing them out and talking to students in and around the University Campus.
It was at this time that I proposed the Global Marketing and Promotions Initiative to promote a market the platform Worldwide.

The birth of #Promo-Steem
It was from this initiative, in particular Part 3, that saw the birth of #Promo-Steem and I am proud to see that the initiative has been widely embraced.
With now over 2,500 users on #Steemit that have tagged and shared their promotional activities to #Promo-Steem, it is an absolute pleasure to see just how far reaching and global #Promo-Steem has grown.
With The London Cryptocurrency Show under our belt, I am now looking forward to start working on a number of new projects in the U.K. over the next few days.
As these projects kick off, I will be looking to grow the #Promo-UK and #Promo-Steem team in the U.K, as well as sharing with you some very exciting news regarding future events with The London Cryptocurrency Show.
In the meantime, a MASSIVE #Steemit Shout Out to all those that attended the Show on Saturday.

Brilliant. Thanks once again for your effort. One thing I've noticed on Saturday is that "community" was the buzz word of the show - at least a couple places said they were preparing something for the community. I think we didn't talk as much about this, but instead presented the community in practice, and this was really impressive.
Amazing @stephenkendal how a great vision make things grow in this way. Congratulations for the initiative and really glad things are turning so great for the #promo-steem project, that will continue collaborating on the growth of steemit and the steem blockchain hugely!
I was wondering what @ned thinks about all this! He has not yet mentioned anything about the London Crypto Show and how #promo-steem gathered to get all the people together with amazing projects of the steem blockchain.

Well, after readig the blog of @exyle i noticed that #londoncryptocurrencyshow went tremendously awesome and look now you made this news publicized this time, yeyyy
I am pretty sure that this show is gonna change the entire perception of the investors community to release their money from old method of banking transactions. I am also very much convinced that this show has inspired the masses around the globe to leave all those fake social sites which are just wasting the precious time of the people like #facebook.

It's amazing how #Promo-Steem has grown, after the London Cryptocurrency Show I think it will continue reaching more people.
I believe it's a good idea to focus on the UK, but soon we have to keep expanding towards the rest of Europe.
