The only show I used to watch on TV was "The Curse of Oak Island" which is a exploration that has been going on for 13 years on an island in the Atlantic on the coast of Nova Scotia, Canada. It stems from a discovery in the late 1700s of a "money pit." The searchers at that time had dug to a depth, and then the pit flooded. Apparently flood tunnels filled with coconut husk fibers were set up as booby traps. Further details about Oak Island can be found here.
