SC-S28/wk3: "Movie Highlights: "Voices unheard"

Hello movie lovers!!

Welcome to week 3 of steemit challenge season 28!! I still remain your host ruthjoe. Two weeks ago we kicked off with movie Highlights and today we are in week 3.

This week I have something very interesting for us all. There are certain stories, life and even communities that are not well known. This could either be because they are marginalized or poor or not well represented in the herm of affairs.

This is why this challenge for the week has been presented and is titled voices unheard. We will be using this as an opportunity to give them a voice. Join me if you agree!

Week 3: "Voices Unheard"

Objective for week 3: Amplify diverse stories and perspectives.

Task for the week

• Watch a film that focuses on marginalized or underrepresented communities.
  Example films: Moonlight, The Farewell, The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind, Sound of Metal

• What new perspective or culture did this movie introduce you to?

• Were there any stereotypes challenged or broken in the film?

• Which character's journey did you relate to the most?

• What’s one message from the film that stuck with you?

Guidelines for the challenge

• Read carefully and understand the task

• Your entry will be evaluated and rated out of 10, based on the emotional impact, quality and presentation, thoughts and the creativity of your storyline. Note that results can not be contested and decisions are final!

• The Title of your submission should be "SC-S28/W2-Movie Highlights|Voices unheard(add name of the movie)

• Post your entry in steem4nigeria community or on your blog only

• Submit your entry link under this post.

• Tags to be used: #mschallenge-s28w3 among the first three tags, #steemexclusive #movies #creativewriting, and your country.

• The minimum word count should be 500 words.

• Invite 3 active friends to participate and drop the link to your post in the comments of this post.
