Journey to Adventures
Every summer, I fall even more in love with the enchanting beauty of the Mediterranean coastline, nestled between the Taurus Mountains running parallel to the shore and the deep blue sea waters tinged with turquoise. I don't just love the sea in this region. Its rich history, which sheds light on the past, and the hiking, camping, and cycling trails offered by nature also make me feel mentally and physically good.
If you enjoy climbing to great heights like me and want to experience an adrenaline rush, rock climbing is the ideal choice. Although climbing to the summits is challenging and demanding, it instills a sense of confidence. The Mediterranean region and its surroundings are one of the most developed areas for rock climbing in Turkey. Rock climbing takes place at heights far above sea level along the Mediterranean coast. Geyikbayırı is the top spot for climbing. Geyikbarı is a small neighborhood in the Konyaaltı district of Antalya. Rock climbing here starts at Doyran Reservoir and follows a forest trail marked by nature lovers to Doyran Monastery. From there, following the marked forest trails again, you reach the ancient city of Neopolis. This ancient city is located on Kel Mountain, behind the settlement of Doyran.
