They say the best time to shoot the sea is at sunset. I won't argue, sunsets are beautiful. But there's a special thrill in heading out at noon, when your shadow fits beneath your feet, and trying to tame this chaos of light.

Because the light is hard, the sky is empty, the sun merciless. The perfect time to see who's in charge.
