Just a few months ago, this space was occupied by an impressive tree, apparently an avocado tree, but it was sick and had already lost some of its branches to a plague. I noticed it because of a notice posted on its trunk pleading for help to save it, but despite my efforts, it wasn't possible, and they finally cut it down before more branches broke off and caused further damage.
A couple of times I saw the empty hole and hoped to see them plant a new tree in its place, even if it was a different species, but municipal affairs depend on the bureaucratic machinery, and even planting a tree depends on the movement of its gears.
