Did you know that baby rattlesnakes can be more dangerous, because they can't control their venom? A large rattlesnake might give you a small amount of venom, where a baby will give it's full dose. You might not be able to hear a baby rattlesnake, so they're more deadly.
Yes, I've heard it both ways, that the baby rattlers can't control their venom, or that they just let it all out due to fear in self defense that the older snakes don't. Either way, not anything I want to mess with. Even if not deadly, the potential damage and pain of the anti-venom process not at all worth it! This one just a helpful Bull Snake though. google eyes even did a pretty good job of identifying it.
