Thanks to Steemit, this critical thinking miniseries is ALMOST a reality!

This is going to be one of the better things we do and I'm thrilled to say that being on Steemit has been part of why we'll be able to do it...

In an interview with Kyle Kulinski, Sam Harris stated that attacking someone (i.e. Glenn Greenwald or Reza Aslan) personally is "only an (ad-hominem) fallacy if one fails to deal with their arguments" (quoted from memory). Do you guys share this view?

Yes, attacking someone is not definitively fallacious, but it is is the personal attack is in lieu of actually refuting the arguments.

Sam Harris is such a child

Here is the interview, by the way:

Literal quote: "[...] that's [to comit the ad-hominem fallacy] is only true if you're failing to deal with their arguments." 5:37
