In an interview with Kyle Kulinski, Sam Harris stated that attacking someone (i.e. Glenn Greenwald or Reza Aslan) personally is "only an (ad-hominem) fallacy if one fails to deal with their arguments" (quoted from memory). Do you guys share this view?
Yes, attacking someone is not definitively fallacious, but it is is the personal attack is in lieu of actually refuting the arguments.
