Very well put together article. I didn't know about this journalist, I will have to delve in it deeper to see how this all came to light and how it was played out. Because to be honest, if a journalist is ever 'outed' it is usually because he was picked to be the black sheep to cover up even more dishonesty. I don't see you as a conspiracy theorist or nutcase...Or I would be one too. I will even go as far as to say that hardly anything is 'real' news in the mainstream media. Maybe the odd cat rescue by the fire department, or a lotto win...
I say this, because first of all: I was once one of them. The mainstream media are either all bought or owned by people other than those who want to provide real news. Then, once you know this, everything starts to make sense, and you can 'see' what is fake and what isn't.
When they use prime air time for a kitty rescue story it makes you wonder what other story are they purposedly not reporting.
Exactly @hueso... What the media is doing at the moment ( have been for a while) is bomb us with useless information and A LOT of negative news... This is done on purpose. There is so much news that people can't keep up. It confuses and that way most people don't question it. Every now and then, they throw in something major that has people go: WTF? And then you never hear about it again... That confuses even more. I'll give you an example: A couple of years ago, one of the mainstream media channels in my country (Holland) reported of structures found on the bottom of the ocean just off the coast of Cuba. The structures were supposedly made with some kind of metal... I heard this clearly on the radio. When I told people and asked them if they heard it, no one had and some even thought I must have dreamed it. Until later, a friend told me he heard it too. Now, you'd say this is major news right? Wrong. I never heard about it again, and never even found anything about it online, on their site or elsewhere... They do these kinds of things to confuse people.
Then, when they throw in some 'terrorist attacks' (I could write a book about those) and people believe it because they're too confused to even question it or do their own research about it. I'm sure there are other reasons, but this is one of the main ones...
