SC-S29/W1- Nostalgia Of The Liitle Me : Games we used to play, (Clapping hands games or Nnoti/eha)
Childhood is never a time to joke with, it is not a time to neglect because we will always remember and regret why we didn't make use of it.
I remember how I missed most part of my childhood and as such I promise to allow my daughter enjoyed every part of her years while growing up.
This contest, brings back lot of memories and I will like to share.
Name of the childhood game(s)
Clapping hands or clapping games was my favourite childhood games. I played this enough as it helps me have the best fun ever.
This game is very common among girls in Africa, most especially in Nigeria. Most girls enjoyed this game so much and in the village back then if you don't know how to play it, then you have not fun to be with.

My daughter and her cousin playing what game
The clapping games is of two types, sometimes we add the legs too sometimes we play just with hands. Which ever I played, I just enjoyed playing this games more often. The hand clapping game is called "Eha while the leg own is called Nnoti"

My daughter and her cousin playing games at night
This game is not being played by many children again, it has been replaced with electronic games, watching cartoons and lot more. So recently, I introduced my daughter and her cousin to some of this games, and I teach them how to play.
Where and with whom you used to play
I usually play it with my junior sister at home mostly during holidays when we are less busy or during weekends.
We mostly played it at night when the moon shines so bright, during this time my cousins do join us in this game and it became so fun.
I remember one day when we were like 6 people in the game and it was fun because we played for a long time and we learned different skills while playing. We even trained other girls who were interested to join the game.

Playing with my mate
So in the midst of any girls this game can be played because it is usually a girls game. It serves as exercise too as you jump to change different legs.
Why this game was special to you
This game was the easiest and it brought me closer to my sister, it helps me understand her thinking ability, it helps me understand her the more.
It helps me draws closer to my cousins as well as other friends who usually join in the game.
The way we move our hands and legs at the same time and being careful so as to leave the game makes the concentration of it so high.
I like games that are challenging, requires concentration and brain work, it helps me thinks fast and calculate fast as well. It arouses the in Psychology in me.
Any funny, emotional, or memorable incident related to the game
Any time a person misses a clap or a step, automatically the person will be confused and so she will be out of the game. On the onset when the person missed the rhythm, there will be a confused looked on her face and it's going to be a very funny type.
Life lessons or values learned from playing those games
It is a mental game, you build your psychomotor while trying it.
It teaches us patience, concentration and unity, this games helps in being organised and teamwork. It teaches me how to be out spoken and stay positive for something better.
Laughing out loud other people's inability to stay focused, helps in building us to stay focused, pay attention, think fast and have a better result of something.
While playing this games, I also learn that failure is not the end rather, it boast you for positivity, for a better result and encourages you to work more and be successful.
Thank you for going through my post, I hope you enjoyed this childhood games, hope it brings you back memories.
I will like to invite @dequeen @adylinah and @ninapenda to take part in this contest.
