President Ilham Aliyev (@presidentaz) announced the country will boost gas production by 10 B cubic meters over the next 2–3 years, expanding exports to 10 EU member states and a total of 16 countries worldwide, making Azerbaijan the #1 pipeline gas supplier globally.❗️In 2025, SOCAR exported 25.2B m³, half to 🇪🇺Europe. 🇦🇹Austria and 🇩🇪Germany already receive Azerbaijani gas as of January 2026. Europe now has alternative supply security, while 🇷🇺Russia’s pipeline share dropped to 4th place at 937M m³/day in 2025.
