Hello World!

This is the 126th Edition of the Photochain challenge TESTNET on Steem. The Photochain Challenge is a blockchain-like photography contest. If you would like to know more about, read the Photochain TESTNET Edition ZERO on STEEM. There, I explained the functioning of the contest and how to join.

In this post, I'll announce the 2 (two) winners of the 125th Edition of the TESTNET contest. Within the next 72 hours, I'll reward both of them with 1.5 STEEM - as previously explained - and will post in the comment section of the 125th EDITION.

And the Winner is...

The edition number 125 of the TESTNET phase counted 8 (eight) valid participants.

The two Key-Subjects were:

White and Plant

These are the 2 (two) winners of the edition:

Winner 1

Gems.and.cookies

TESTNET.00125.a.gems.and.cookies.wood.jpg

with a plant in a vase.

The personal subject is Wood.

Winner 2

Hafsasaadat90

TESTNET.00125.a.hafsasaadat90.book.jpg

with the foreground of a book and a plant.

The personal subject is Book.

Even this week we concluded with a good participation, so I though to add two special awards to two honorable mentions (for the just-ended edition): 0.75 STEEM each.

The first honorable mention is:

TESTNET.00125.c.adinapoli.honorable.jpg

by @adinapoli

and the second honorable mention is:

TESTNET.00125.d.gertu.honorable.jpg

by @gertu

Thank you EVERYONE for participating in this week's contest!
@dim753 @soulfuldreamer @suryati1 @wakeupkitty.pal

IMPORTANT!!!

I explained in the TESTNET EDITION NUMBER ZERO Post that you can participate by submitting a photo in the comment section: you must be the author of the photo.

The photo must contain the two Key-Subjects - I will write below - and another key-subject of your choice (the subject must be contained in the photo). I also explained HERE how the key-subjects will change and the criteria with which I'll choose them. Below, I'll mention all the rules. If you have any doubt, follow the practical examples in the TESTNET ZERO EDITION and learn about the contest there. If you post on your blog, remember to use the #photochain tag.

STEPS and RULES: first part

1) SUBMIT IN THE COMMENT SECTION:

  • The photo that contains the two Key-Subjects;
  • A Comment with the two Key-Subjects + another subject of your choice but CONTAINED in the photo. (If you posted the image in your blog, you can post the link to that page, but you must add your photo in the comment section anyway);

2) ONLY IF YOU WANT: mention another person you think would like this challenge;

3) NO FOLLOW, UPVOTE, RESTEEM REQUIRED;

4) WAIT FOR THE NEXT WEEK: time limit to join is to 3 hours before the edition post Payout; I'll announce the winners after that moment.

RULES: second part

  • You can join with 1 (one) photo only each edition.

  • The PHOTO MUST BE TAKEN BY YOU (any device, like professional camera, smartphone, and so on).

  • Key-subjects must consist of a single word; multiple words are allowed only if the combination indicates a well-defined object/subject (for example "street lamp").

  • The entry photos MUST CONTAIN the two key-subjects indicated in the launch of the edition.

  • The entry photos MUST CONTAIN the third key-subject indicated by the participant.

  • The third key-subject has to be different from the first two key-subjects.

  • The duration of the contest is: from the start announcement post to 3 (three) hours before the post payout time of that post.

  • I'll advance with the prize-sending 3 (three) days approx after the finish of the weekly edition. I'll write the transaction ID in the winners' announcements post (practical example for educational purposes only: after 72 hours about from the winners' announcement, whoever wins the 10th edition will find a comment under the launch post of the 10th edition, containing the transaction identification link).

  • Participation is open in Italian and English. Not having knowledge of different alphabets, I ask those who want to participate to first make a translation of the proposed key-subjects together with the photo.

  • NO PLAGIARISM!

  • No SPAM!

  • Basic editing is allowed.

  • Each color cover is allowed, including Black and White.

  • You mustn't use graphic design and/or add part of other image and/or use deep editing like Photoshop-guided rebuilding processes: this is a photography contest!

  • GIFs are allowed only 1) if the duration is less or equal to 10 seconds; and 2) if it represents a view of the same objects/subjects and not a rebuilt-video; and 3) if the key-subjects remain in the foreground for the whole duration of the GIF.

  • I ADVISE you about the photo you want to propose: there are some Law rules in each State, and I know that using photo of people or photographing private properties could get you into some troubles. Make sure you're not infringing on anyone's rights when you post your photos on the web.

  • Each Theme is allowed: no censorship except for extremely explicit content. The nsfw contents are allowed but, if I choose a nsfw photo as a winner, I will not insert it as an image in the official post (only as a mention or a link to the published post).

  • IMPORTANT: I invite the participants to use fairly large categories as subjects so as not to sabotage participation. You mustn't use proper names (of cities, places, mountains, species, etc).
Another example: don't use words like London, or Danube, or Mark, or Blue Crab; or don't use the snow bear subject, just animal or bear. Naturally, in case of equally deserving photos, I will consider a photo of an animal that isn't often photographed in a more relevant way than a simple domestic cat.

REMEMBER!

The more general the category of the meaning of the word used as a subject is, greater the participation in the competition will be, greater the prizes and the fun will be in the future.

photochain testnet edition steem cover.jpg

Ciao mondo!

Bianco e Pianta

Questi sono i 2 (due) vincitori dell'edizione:

Vincitore numero uno

Gems.and.cookies

TESTNET.00125.a.gems.and.cookies.wood.jpg

con una pianta in un vaso.

Il soggetto personale è Legno.

Vincitore numero due

Hafsasaadat90

TESTNET.00125.a.hafsasaadat90.book.jpg

TESTNET.00125.c.adinapoli.honorable.jpg

di @adinapoli

e la seconda menzione d'onore è:

TESTNET.00125.d.gertu.honorable.jpg

di @gertu

Congratulazioni!

  • La FOTO che contiene i due SOGGETTI CHIAVE;
  • Un COMMENTO con i due Soggetti chiave + un ALTRO SOGGETTO a tua scelta che sia contenuto nella foto. (Se hai pubblicato l'immagine sul tuo blog, puoi pubblicare il link a quella pagina, ma DEVI COMUNQUE AGGIUNGERE la tua foto nel commento). La ricerca sui tag o le notifiche hanno spesso mostrato problemi e non posso garantirti che riuscirò a trovare la tua partecipazione se non segui questa procedura;

2) SOLO SE VUOI: menziona un'altra persona che ritieni possa apprezzare questa sfida;

3) NESSUN FOLLOW, UPVOTE, RESTEEM RICHIESTI (ma sarò più che felice di riceverli);

First time I hear dogs ruin books. Are your books that low or grew the dog that huge? @pousinha has some great baby dolls.

🍀❤️

The wall is low, and the books are within the dog's reach. What's more, he climbs onto the chair and grabs them.

If he still climbs on the chair at his age it will be hard to forbid that. Seems he shows interest in books

Hahaha. He's 7 months old. He's grown more than I imagined.

Will he change into the size of a horse? I hope he is loyal and makes a good guard as well. Enjoy the walks!

Yes, of course😂! In fact, my avatar here in steemit (and elsewhere) is one of them😂

I know just how puppies can be disruptive and "dangerous" to things like books and shoes and slippers. They're very playful. You have so many books! Puppy must really be waiting for a chance to test them out 😂

Good luck to you and thanks for joining this week 😊

A simple and beautiful photograph, I like your photography. I wish you success in the contest

Hi @davidesimoncini. Here's my entry for this week.

My 9 year old grandson has discovered the joy of reading books. He is now on the third book of C. S. Lewis' The Chronicles of Narnia here shown in the foreground. Scattered on the wooden table are his wooden blocks called Jenga Blocks, if you are familiar with this game.

1000022137.jpg

My Personal Keyword is Table.

WOOD / BOOK / TABLE

Good luck everyone. Calling the gang @wakeupkitty.pal @henryclive @alexanderkass @xiao-aine @soulfuldreamer @solperez @suryati1. Hooe you all can join 🙏

Lovely entry...
And the way you explain the thought behind your picture ❣️

Thank you. Are you joining this week? There's still time. I always look forward to your entries 😊

A good reading corner, perfect entry. Thank you for joining also this week, Gems. A big welcome and a big good luck! :D

Your photography is great, I wish you luck in the contest

Thank you. So is your photography. Best of luck this week. Entries are all awesome. Davide will have difficult time in choosing 🤔

Yes, two of the 7 books have been made into a movie. They're supposed to be for children but even adults like them. I hope you can join again this week 😊

Where there are children, there will be disorder. Congratulations on instilling this reading habit in your grandson! What better start than with mystical and spiritual literary works?
It's an organized disorder; there's no chaos in it. I love his image.

I took up reading in high school and have been reading since. I started with the Hardy Boys, a series of books about two teenage high school boys who helped their detective father solve cases. My grandson is only in Grade 3 and I am so excited to see him develop this hobby at an even younger age as this can only be good for him. I like your term organized disorder. Such a perfect description for his work table 😊

I began reading with a story about a nurse, Florence Nightingale. It influenced my future life to the point that I initially wanted to be a nurse, and then I continued studying to become a doctor.

Today, I'm passionate about reading about forensic medicine, the investigative aspects of a corpse used to solve a crime.

I love reading fiction and writing about it.

What your grandson reads today can leave a strong impression on him, on his future.

My wife and daughter are both nurses that is why I know Florence Nightingale. In fact they both took the Nightingale Pledge when they became nurses. Awesome story about what she has done. Wow, you are a medical doctor. I would not have imagined you as one from your entries here in PhotoChain. I only know you are a plant expert and a very religious person. Wonders never cease to amaze!

Same as you I prefer fiction and I love watching tv series and movies about medical genre, forensic medicine included. House MD and the Good Doctor are quite entertaining. But I don't write hehe.

What your grandson reads today can leave a strong impression on him, on his future.

We realize that. It is so true. We try to give our grandson a variety of topics to read, including the Bible which my wife makes sure he reads daily. She bought him a Children's Bible so he could read and understand it easier.

Thank you for your support. 😊

Thanks @wakeupkitty. I just love it when you suddenly walk in uninvited and make my day. Thanks for all the support. I appreciate it very much.

How wonderful!
You also know the story of that nurse! Greetings to your wife for having chosen that wonderful profession of serving human beings.

Yes, I loved watching those stories on TV. I don't watch television anymore. I love those detective series.

Congratulations to those great grandparents! They will have a good harvest with those teachings to their grandson.

We hope and try our best with our grandson. He just received his first communion last December 4 and we both count the number of times he has received it since. Last Sunday was his 15th. The joys.of being a grandparent. Are you?

What you say is a blessing!

I only have one child and he is a boy, he is 25 years old and he still doesn't want commitments.

Congratulations to the winners

It seems a good choice. Thank you for coming back and welcome to the current edition. A big good luck, soon the results :)

This looks like the children's section of a bookstore. Anyone see you taking a photo of the display 😄 Great entry. Good luck in the contest.

I took the photo in a place where they sell school supplies.

Stories in books...I was taken by surprise as I saw them. Totally cool to have between your books. Let's say putting such a story together is a different way of reading.

@emmabritt did you see these?

Books - wood - train

A nice finding, I like this. Thanks for joining, Wakeupkitty. Welcome to the edition and a big good luck. Some hours, and the results will arrive :D

Thank you, you are always so kind. How are you doing? Do you like those 3D puzzles or you have other hobbies?

Fine, thanks. Hope the same for you :)
My hobbies? Reading and riding (on a bike, not on a horse).

Yes, but at the moment I only do it to photograph some of the cycling races held nearby. In recent months, I've focused more on reading and writing.

I already wondered why you hosted the #photochain since you never showed a photo. So you do take them. Do you like reading and writing or is it more something for the winter?

I wish you a great day/evening with and without races.

🍀❤️
@wakeupkitty

Kopie van TC8 wuk.jpg

Reading and writing are long-living habits. I did them since I was young. First, only reading; then, also writing. I self-published a short novel and a long story in my language.

Very interesting entry. Looks like to me a train and the station from the past time travelled and just split the book in two lol. Good discovery. Best of luck and happy you made it again despite your busy schedule 😊

These books do not contain text, but rather a wooden construction kit related to the subject of the book in question. Always a nice addition to the bookshelf, even for those who do not enjoy reading.

I try to show up though I also admit I easily forget. For some reason my days are always short. Plus the cold wants me to sleep more.

First time I've heard about this. Sounds really cool. Does this have some sort of name or term so I can look it up?

I understand the weather in the northern hemisphere is really really cold. My daughter who is now on her 5th year in Germany said this is the coldest winter she's ever had. Good thing she doesn't complain about wanting to sleep more. If she does she might find herself out of work 😂

And while you guys are cold, we in the tropics are getting high doses of ultraviolet exposure due to the heat and the sun. But I guess between the cold and the heat, hands down my choice is the latter. At least we can still enjoy the beach even just to hunt for shells.

1000022312.jpg

1000022316.jpg

As I understood from @almaguer who lives on Cuba it's even cold overhere and they had 0 degrees. If it comes to the beach.. one can always visit it even during winter. Heard about the New Year's dive on January 1st where Dutch people dive into the sea? It's short but still....

It's a Rolife 3d wooden puzzle

https://www.rolifeonline.com/en-jp/collections/modern-3d-wooden-puzzle

I just saw my train but the books are also mentioned.

Parece que sobrevivo al frío jjj. Gatito.

I saw a Harry Potter like library for this. It comes with lights too

This is part of my library in the office. This is the photo of my firstborn and the images of my holy representations.

My keyword is plant pot.

It is so orderly and neat. Our bookshelf is the complete opposite. Check out my entry to know what I mean.😆 Good luck to you. Oh, by the way, the cross on the shelf is very unique and beautiful. 🙏

Thank you so much for those words. That's the library in my medical office. The cross you're referring to is a gift from a friend who brought it to me from the state of Zulia in my country. In the center is the Virgin Mary of Chiquinquirá carrying her young son on the cross. It's art that represents the faith of a Catholic people.
At the other end is the image of Our Lady of Fatima, representing my Portuguese culture. My parents were originally from the island of Madeira.
I'll go and see her image now.

You might be interested in this post I just saw today from a person I follow in the other platform. It is a prayer the angel of peace taught the 3 shepherd children in Fatima, Portugal.

Click here for the link. 🙏

Thank you, friend, for this beautiful prayer. I always say it silently when the priest is at the altar and raises the consecrated host.

We repeat this prayer in a penitential rosary, which is the rosary of Our Lady of Ikita.

I'm also on that platform, but like here, I don't participate very often. I like to share comments, so I'll look for you there too.

I have been inactive on the other platform for quite some time now. I just do mostly upvoting of my friends' posts and sometimes read them if it interests me. So you might not find me there too much 😊

I tell you the same thing, I go sometimes once a week, or every 15 days to publish, but I stop by every day to leave my votes.

Good, thanks for sharing. I can't use these two words as a subject, but I think "Vase" is the perfect summary of the two. Do you agree? Thanks for your participation, anyway. Welcome to the new edition and a big good luck! :D

Yes it is very good, thank you for your words.
