DELIGHTFUL DUCKS

There were so many of them it was quite amazing!!

Yesterday I was driving through town and as I crossed the bridge, looking to my right, I noticed many ducks on the river bank. Well, being the Steemian that I am, I quickly put on my blinker and parked to get some photo's.

There had to be at least 100 ducks here. Many were on shore, and there were some out in the water as well. I walked around them and they always stayed a few feet away, but were not really alarmed by my presence. So it was kinda cool. :-D

As I was there some ducks took to the air, others went in for a swim and still others came out of the water. They honked and pecked at the ground as I walked around getting photo's.

I always liked looking a ducks. Glad to got to capture so many in a frame.

Great but I guess it's not duck season? because otherwise you would not find a single duck hahaha they would all hide @paradise-found

Hahaha - Not legal to shoot them with a shot gun within the city limits.
The Police Dept. is only a few blocks away!! So the ducks are feeling safe!! :-D

jejejeje here in my country is very difficult to see beautiful ducks and well people do not eat it, the few that exist in my country take care of them not to be extinguished

Here they have a hunting season. Not many hunt killed, most live.
Most likely the ducks migrate to Southern USA for the winter, then return next spring.
