You have to go up in the mountains in Japan, there is snow in there right?
Yeah, there is a ton of snow in the mountains. Sometimes I go skiing, but it’s not the same as snowshoeing in the back country, or spending a weekend at a house in the middle of nowhere.
I’ll put it on my list of things to do in the new year.
You know I've never been snowshoeing, I always just trample around in the deep snow 😅
Honestly, that’s what snowshoeing is, trampling around in the snow with big things strapped to your feet;-)
They do help you walk a bit though.
But I guess they help you not to fall waist deep in the snow, which is something I did last year when there was soooooo much snow. a Couple times I had trouble getting up while holding the camera at the same time.
They do keep you from sinking up to your waist, that’s true.
