Something pretty
I said out loud that "I don't know what to post..." After browsing my folders of hundreds and hundreds of photos. Nothing caught my eye.
I got and answer "Post something pretty" duhh...
So here it is :) Something pretty.
Nikon D5500 + Sigma 105 (f/7.1, 1/800, 105mm, ISO500)
A pretty barberry bush and pretty tiny barberry flower buds with petty red bokeh background.
And a pretty ginger bee that is comepletly out of focus :p

Nice and pretty flower, but the bee ... I know, I know, bees are important but I'm in war with them :(
last year I had a vespiary (I hope this is the right definition) somewhere next to my balcony. They were all over the balcony the whole summer :(((

Haha, I like your out of focus bee photo! It looks like a decent photo to me - of course I'm not a professional photographer. Also I never heard of a barberry bush, so I learned something new!
In Poland they are very popular and lots of shrubs around buildings are made of Barberry. They are gorgeous looking with the red leaves, and tiny red berries in winter. But the flowers are so stinky! :p
Haha @ewkaw, that seems to be the way with beautiful flowers that sometimes they don't smell good! Maybe they were designed that way to keep animals/people from eating them!
Maybe... I dunno... But when I pass that bush its like dirty wet socks. Seriously!

Yeah, the lens is great, but the autofocus was quite slow compared to canon... I sold the sigma to get the Canon that I use also as a portrait lens.
Ahh that's why.
This is my first macro lens so I cant really compare it to any other But I really like it :)
I love the capture especially the one with the bee. I like the dramatic effect the surroundings are blurry, all eyes are set on the bee. ^^
