In Poland they are very popular and lots of shrubs around buildings are made of Barberry. They are gorgeous looking with the red leaves, and tiny red berries in winter. But the flowers are so stinky! :p
Haha @ewkaw, that seems to be the way with beautiful flowers that sometimes they don't smell good! Maybe they were designed that way to keep animals/people from eating them!
Maybe... I dunno... But when I pass that bush its like dirty wet socks. Seriously!
