Photography or a single image I feel often captures those treasured moments in ones life, there is nothing quite like looking back and reflecting good or bad. But I also find that just like the act of writing our collective pictures can also be a art-form. The beauty and meaning of a photo can be expressed and shared in many ways including not even using a single word but instead just seeing what it makes you feel.

While I do enjoy photography I used to share those "everyday" type images that captures just those typical day to day activities, the feedback was mostly positive and so I continued sharing these "Ulog type" photos on Steemit.

Almost every picture as a story to tell right? Or at least that is what I was often been told by some of my followers when I first started sharing photos on here, and I would have to agree with them.

Last night I went to sleep just before the usual late hour, which is a improvement compered to the past 2 nights and so I'm happy with that. I think I was also too tired to be doing anything else, like for example twice I could of gone to sleep yesterday, once just before work which started later than usual and 2 after work once I settled in I felt tired enough to go and sleep for the night. But I got enough done of the updates for my friends which I was also happy about. As for going to sleep it was easy as I was so tired, while it was still cold it didn't bother me last night which also shows a slight jump up in temperature but the heavier blanket above the sheets does help and feels nice. I guess I still expected this morning to be difficult to get out of bed, but I did wake-up before my alarm and decided to rest past it, regardless even with that I still was up earlier compared to the past 2 mornings. I'm not blaming the cold but it does seem to have a affect for me when it comes to getting out of bed and beginning the day. But I will be taking things easy anyway until I can get fully rid of this persistent flu. The weather this morning is mostly cloudy but the sun is really trying, there is a lot of wind still and so I wonder what weather that will be bringing later, I'm betting on worse.. Lucky for me with the late start I didn't have work to get in for but did have plans to meet with friends later, since they don't have work today and are enjoying part of their Easter holidays. However they are going to see family tomorrow and so since I'm feeling better now the plan is to meet before they go as it would be more ideal for us to meet still during the Easter holidays. I didn't have as much time to do the chores I needed at home plus I also want to try and get more of those updates done for them before I leave which did actually happen and I'm pleased with the progress so far. I left the house around the time I wanted and was actually greeted with some nice sunshine unfortunately the insane wind still made it unpleasant but I was just happy it wasn't rain or worse like last time hail! Had a good time with friends we of course discussed a little further what might happen at the event that work rejected me from attending and I learnt that some friends were likely no to attend unless I can make it partly. Good to know but I'm still waiting on some other friends vie texts messages as they have not got back to me yet. I left a little earlier than usual as there was no distractions and it sounded like the weather was getting worse again. It actually wasn't and neither was it really that cold on the return home, surprisingly a few party goers out which is a little strange for a Sunday. On Steemit.com I'm very glad to still see it continue to work as it should, work on updating the look of the Steemit.com interface continues on for something more "modern" I was very worried about this but the changes aren't anything drastic and Alpha testing can now be tried. Today's Picture

As for the picture today I share some flower photography, a quick disclaimer I understand that this type of photography on Steemit has a bit of a bad reputation. This is because it was often used by spammers to make like 8 posts each day.
Hopefully as you can see from my blog I'm nowhere near making 8 or more posts per day on the subject of flowers.

I believe this was captured on the way to work near the super market as the weather was getting better, there is a lot going on here as this is the overseer shot. What we do know about the image is that there are a few things growing here and one of them for sure are roses, well at least baby ones and the traditional common ones which are seen to the bottom of the photo and some more in the upper right centre. We have a plant on the upper left side with grey in colour round shaped flowers, yes I know it's in black and white but I will share with colour at some point.. still I wonder are they considered flowers? flowerheads? buds? I'm not sure what you'd call them perhaps someone in the comments can help for a upvote. Another big thing of note which I only came to the realisation much much later was there are strange bugs sitting on the flowers. There are two bugs in this photo and they are both completely different, one is green in colour while the other in brown, one bug is thin and looks like it maybe able to jump high while the other looks more like a tank and likely isn't as agile. Interesting thing is the tank is looking directly over at the green presumably unsuspected of the other ones presence, I can't help but wonder what are the dynamics of this situation.

I don't know what the name is of the bugs, could it be a type of cricket? If anybody knows please share in the comments below to possibly win a upvote. We also have these white but slightly pink flowers which I also don't know what they are called.
