the deep drop of the Steem price - what to expect ?
I don't remember when Steem was in such low position.
Everything is dropped - votes price, rewards and actually the mood to post and to invest to the content of the post. what to expect in the near future ? any predictions ?
Be patient, this is not a downside because this price has been manipulated.
Soon it go up more ... and the first three months of the year are always low ( all cryptomoneys ) .
And the steem-money is still overrated. Because there is 0.00 real worth behind, there is no gold, no buildings, no chares, simply nothing which has a real worth.
It's all about hope into future.
A rate of 0.03 USD / steem would reflect the real worth.
Who cares.
What was the reason for this network? Art, quality content, etc. not making fast cash ;)
good point. anyway, there are so many things without nothing behind that are worth so much these days...depending on how they manage the data, organize the content and make it available in the long term, there might be something valuable here in the long term. I see great work in steemit everyday...

In my opinion everything is due to low price of Bitcoin because Bitcoin have the Dominance on the Cryptocurrency market and when the price of Bitcoin falls then inturn it pull backs the price of Altcoins and let's hope that in future the Dominance will be decreased and i am really waiting for the launch of SMT's because in my opinion SMT's can change the face of Steemit Platform. It's bumming me out that EVERYTHING is so low! I hope that it goes back up soon...
No wonder I feel steemit so lonely. My discord chats are quite silent and not that many people posting. I hope it get's back up again!
It was under $1 when I joined in, last September. I wouldn't worry too much, cryptos are getting a lot of negative press due to regulation pressure from governments.
Stick with it, I choose to ignore the money side and keep building my content(which is getting indexed in Google) and gain more follows. It beats wasting time on Facebook :)
I agree with @stevejhuggett that you should try to ignore money side (easy to say when my value here is minimal) and try to socialice, have fun, learn new things and create content :)
