I'm not a good homesteader yet either. I used to kill my weeds and ants with gasoline lol But since moving here I've become more conscious of what's going on around me. Some plants can be indicative of soil conditions, though I'm not sure yet how to read them. Always learning and trying to spread what I learn :)
