fire arrows in my face
fire arrows in my face,
make me hate my mellow state,
kill my pride and strip me nude,
all while being nice, not rude.
do respect my lifetime choices,
even though these low, low voices
do not reach your ears these daye.
fire arrows in my face.

I like it, particularly the "low, low voices" section. Got the brain moving. You seem to have use it 3 ways! "Even though these low," (as a noun) "low voices do not reach your ears these days" (adjective, volume), but then I also take it as, "even though these low,"(well being)"low"(volume) voices do not reach your ears". I may be off with all of these but thats the best part of poetry for me. The potential for ambiguity allows us to relate more literally.
Very interesting interpretation! :) I really like your thinking. It's brilliant that people like you can find their own meanings in my words. Thank you!
