rise up pretty lady
and speak your piece
breathe out peace
sun in the east
a new day dawn
pen as sword I run
peace I scream thy will be done
a Sooner known to jump the gun
shine on the blade to catch the sun
holy rays carved into one
stand up pretty lady
and be the peace
unleash the beast
show them how to do with elbow grease
I just begun
to feel the hum
rising from the depths of soul's dark night
ignite
with light
love and truth will shine
a rhyme divine
no place
no lines
bending
space time
the choice is mine
expanded mind
heart open wide
really it is very beautiful words and have a lot of meaning
It's a lovely free verse, I love the simple Andy internal rhyme you used, it shaped into a perfect rhyme scheme as well. It's so calm and peaceful and well it illuminates as well just like the imagery of illuminaion you used between the poem verses
